The Day After The Night Before

For many of you it will be a bit of a trip getting down for the wedding, so why rush off on the Sunday?  There are many things you can do locally...

A few suggestions

Alton Towers   www.altontowers.com
This is where we are going on the Sunday - you are more than welcome to join us for our first public appearance as Mr and Mrs Eaglesfield.  Being a Sunday out of season should mean less queuing and more ride time. If the theme park is not your style then check out their waterpark, Cariba Creek.

Please let us know if you want to come to Alton Towers as we may get group discounts if we book together. Alternatively click here for some ways to get cheap tickets.

Ashbourne and The Peak District   www.peakdistrict.org
Don't fancy the thrills and spills then?  If not then why not enjoy a bit of the great outdoors?  The market town of Ashbourne is about 11 miles away or venture off in to the countryside for a bracing walk.

Churnet Valley Railway   www.churnet-valley-railway.co.uk
Relive the age of steam and enjoy the ride. Froghall Station is just 1 mile away from Whiston Hall and great for all train enthusiasts and big kids.

A round of Golf   www.whistonhall.co.uk
Whiston Hall has its own golf course.  It is open to non-members at just 15 per round - so remember to pack your clubs.
